As part of our topic learning on our local area, Panda class visited Bridge Mill to learn about how a mill works and to have a go at spinning wool. The children enjoyed working the quern
even though it was quite hard work. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the mill in action because of the lack of water. Fun was had in Rosie’s workroom, as they teased the wool from Gracie and Alice, the sheep, into bracelets. We then fed the sheep which was quite exciting for many of them.
The trip concluded with a well- earned ice-cream in Bude
