Please see below our school safeguarding policy. This is updated annually and incorporates changes to the document ‘Keeping Children safe in Education’. The school also has a Staff Code of Conduct which all staff and volunteers in school are expected to adhere to at all times. The school whisteblowing policy supports the prompt and thorough reporting of all safeguarding concerns.

Shebbear Community Primary School was founded in 1877. It is set in the heart of the Devon countryside, in the small rural village of Shebbear.
