We have been lucky enough to have more visitors in school this week as part of the Appledore Book Festival. On Monday Patrice Lawrence spoke to the children in Koala and Panda about her journey to becoming a writer and later signed copies of her books. Patrice also very kindly cut the ribbon for the opening of our refurbished library. She was helped by Finley and Archie, whose family very kindly did lots of the initial work to convert the previous space. They were assisted by some of our keenest readers.
On Wednesday, Teddy class had their chance when John Doherty came in. He was very entertaining and the children thoroughly it.
