On Monday, we welcomed Ros Davies from Torrington Library. She came in to present the school with a trophy as Shebbear School have won the Summer Reading Challenge. We had the highest percentage of pupils completing the challenge of all schools in our area. Tommy and Poppy collected the trophy on behalf of everyone. They both took part and completed the challenge. Tommy also won the individual reading challenge winning a Minecraft Lego set. Well done to all those who took part.
They are running a new challenge called ‘The Secret Book Quest’. More details can be found at your local library.
