Everyone at Shebbear is really excited about the unveiling of two fantastic new murals. As you may know, Mrs Re-cycle has been in school this week working on a project with the children to produce a bottle top mural. The aim has been to get the children thinking about re-cycling and how they can re-use items which may otherwise have been thrown away. The mural was unveiled in front of the whole school and we are now looking to find a suitable place for it to be displayed. However, this was not the only mural of the day. Magda, Kinga’s mum has kindly produced an amazing piece of artwork to display on the stairs leading up to the top part of the school. It incorporates the school logo and includes many of the activities you would expect to see going on in school. It looks amazing and we are all extremely grateful that we have such a talented artist in our midst. You may also remember that Magda also pained the lovely wall art in our library.
