Cross Country at Shebbear College

Congratulations to the cross country team who took part in an inter school competition on Monday 18th March. Competing against Shebbear College, St Petroc and Kingsley school, the children performed well with the U9 team coming a very creditable third. The conditions were particularly testing. The wind and rain made running conditions tough as did the very heavy ground. Despite this, the children all showed great resilience to complete the course. In the U11 race, the star performance came from Ruby who was the overall girls winner. She saw off some tough competition to come home first. Well done to all of the children who took part. They did Shebbear proud!
