Shebbear School Support Group

The Shebbear School Support Group (SSSG for short) is our version of the old Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  We are so fortunate to have a group of enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated parents who tirelessly arrange a wide selection of fund raising activities to help support the children’s learning – for example they have recently helped to fund transport for the whole school visit to the Hidden Valley Discovery Park near Launceston and secured some grant funding for Lego resources for Koala Class.

If you would like to offer some help and support, then please do not hesitate to contact the school office to be put in touch with one of the members.

Events planned for this term are:

Coffee, Cake and Chat after the Harvest Festival on Friday 29th September at 9.15 a.m.  Second hand uniform will be available.

Hallowe’en Disco – Saturday 28th October in the Village Hall.  Spooky fun and entertainment for all the family, including a Fire Show!  Only £1 entry, prizes for competitions and best fancy dress!

Wine and Wisdom – Saturday 18th November in the Village Hall.  We are already looking forward to another ‘Mark Gough’ quiz.
