On Monday 1st April at 2.45, Year Five and Six will be taking part in The Shebbear Slice Off: a competition to see who can produce the tastiest salad. They have been learning about balanced diets, tasting and preparing ingredients and have designed their own salads. All family members are welcome to join us before the whole school Celebration Assembly to taste the different salads and choose a winner. Please note: most of the ingredients will be provided by school, but a few children have said they wanted to bring in something extra. Please ask your child if this is the case with them.
