Our school council is comprised of six pupils. All pupils from Year 2 and upwards are eligible to put their name forward for election. Children are elected by their peers following an opportunity to say why they should be voted for. It gives the children the opportunity to see British Values in action.
The school council meets once every term and discusses a range of subjects with the aim of representing the views of all children and making the school a better place.
The current school councillors are:
Teddy Class Representative – Daisy
Panda Class Representatives – Mabel and Brook
Koala Class Representatives – Kyra and Leo
Eco-Council
The school Eco-Council is elected in a similar way, although only children from Year 3 upwards. Again they meet every term, but this time to share ideas and work towards improving the school environment and wider world.
The current Eco-Council are:
Panda Class Representatives – Amelie and Macsen
Koala Class Representatives – Isla and Max
